Hey
there,
Have you ever caught yourself saying:
"I know I should be posting more."
"I need to update my website."
"I really need to put myself out there."
And then... nothing happens?
It's easy to assume the problem is discipline.
Or motivation.
Or time.
But in my experience, that's rarely what's actually going on.
More often, what's hiding underneath is fear.
Fear of being judged.
Fear of
saying the wrong thing.
Fear of looking unprofessional.
Fear of putting yourself out there and hearing crickets.
Fear of being visible.
And here's the tricky part:
Fear is clever.
It doesn't usually announce itself.
Instead, it disguises itself as:
"I need to think about it more."
"I need a better plan first."
"I'll do it when things slow down."
"I need to get everything ready."
Before long, weeks or months have
passed and we're still standing in the same place.
If any of this sounds familiar, I want you to know you're not failing.
You're human.
Most camera-shy women solopreneurs I meet aren't struggling because they don't care about their business.
They're struggling because being seen can feel vulnerable.
The good news?
You don't have to eliminate the fear before you take action.
You just have to recognize it for what it
is.
Sometimes simply naming what's really going on is enough to loosen its grip.
So here's a question for you:
If fear wasn't in charge, what would you do next?
Take a moment and sit with that.
You might be surprised by the answer.
Cheering you on,
Get Unstuck. Get Visible.
