Welcome to the JWP Remote Photography Newsletter Blast! 

My flabbers are gasted that it is already February!! I feel like January was so FULL of soooo many things! It was quite the rollercoaster ride.

In my little corner of the universe I have revamped some of my content, batched a BUNCH of videos that I am excited to send out... gotten to do 2 photo sessions with amazing humans who were so camera shy and nervous but came away having had fun and loving their images! It always makes my heart happy when someone hates doing pictures, does them with me and then is like oh wow... I CAN take a good picture!! 

My oldest daughter, who is my middle child, got engaged so we are in the beginnings of wedding planning. It has been a lot of fun so far and I have already been put on notice that I am not allowed to put on my photographer hat for any of it because as mom of the bride she wants me fully immersed in being in the moment. We are only in planning and I'm already having to keep repeating that to myself lmbo. Pray for me that I can keep on track with it!! 🙃

📝Pro Tip of the month:

A super easy formula I have found to help me create videos for my reels is this....

• identify 5-10 FAQ for your industry, from your clients past and present
• write down what your answer would be for each of those questions
• open up your video on your camera and record that answer in 60 sec or less
• open capcut and put on your fav edits, add captions 
• use an image from your video as the cover image, add text and use that question as the reel title (for example... how to find good lighting outside... I would put Outside lighting as my title)
• save your video! 
• Make sure to save it without watermark and then save it somewhere in your folders so you can repurpose/reuse as needed) 

Using this strategy I was able to knock out 15 videos in 2 days time! I spent realistically 2-3 hrs each day from start to finish. But in the end.. now I have these videos formatted and ready to use on any of the platforms.. and saved in my folders! I am NOT a video person... I have really struggled with doing videos for reels until I started following this process. I hope it helps and makes it easier for you too!
