Welcome to the July Remote Photography Newsletter Blast! Let's start off with some fun facts about the month! Independence Day July 4th is the United States' Independence Day, commemorating the day in 1776 when the 13 colonies declared their independence from Britain. The Statue of Liberty's tablet displays the date "JULY IV MDCCLXXVI" in Roman numerals. However, the official vote for independence took place two days before July 4th, and the Declaration of Independence was published in newspapers on that day. Here
in Utah they celebrate Pioneer Day on July 24th so its like 2 4th of July celebrations and you get fireworks pretty much all month! Birthdays People born in July are generally optimistic, but may also experience emotional ups and downs. July is also the birth month of many notable people, including Frida Kahlo, Nelson Mandela, and Amelia
Earhart. Flowers July has two birth flowers, the larkspur and the water lily, which together represent the diverse traits of people born in the month. Holidays July is also the month of several other holidays, including National Hot Dog Day on the third Wednesday, Canada Day on July 1st, and the Tanabata Festival, also known as the Star Festival, in
Japan. Other facts July is also National Ice Cream Month in the United States, and the zodiac signs for the month are Cancer until July 22nd and Leo from July 23rd onward.
Last month I have been busy leaning into doing things that bring me joy.
For me this looks like: - doing my weekly IG hot seats
- hanging out in my beautiful backyard with my family
- getting daily sunshine
- reading more
- setting and sticking to a consistent bedtime
- taking naps when needed
