As we embrace the changing season and finally welcome the warmth of spring, I'm totally stoked to bring you the latest updates and insights from our remote photography community.
🌸 Celebrating Spring: April arrives with a burst of
energy, symbolizing renewal and growth. Did you know that the name "April" originates from the Latin word "aperire," meaning "to open"?
It beautifully reflects the blossoming of flowers and the
awakening of nature around us. I for one am so looking forward to snapping images of all the flowers coming into bloom on my walks!

This last month I got to have a in person visit with my dear friend Shaina. AKA Mystic. We met on CH when I first joined and have done soo many collabs together in the last three years. In fact when I did my pivot from in
person to remote... she was my 2 am night owl buddy/accountability partner/practice model to help me figure out how I was going to make it happen! She flew out to Utah to come visit me and we had a ton of fun! We had good snacks, got to visit in person and enjoy a few adult beverages, and then we did a branding photo shoot for her new business venture. Getting her home was an adventure all in itself but wowsa what a fun time! It was so exciting and fun to get to meet a dear online friend in
person and spend some time together. 💜
I also took this last month to jump a bit more into TT and YouTube. I had accounts on both platforms but wasn't really putting any time or energy into either. I
was starting to get a bit more into the TT but then all the political shut down stuff started coming out... so I figured ill keep adding as I can until it goes one way or the other and at the same time maybe start transitioning some of that energy over into actually doing something with my YouTube channel. Another fun thing that happened this last month... was a online associate/new friend of mine is a travel agent. He went on a Mexico cruise with his family. We decided to test and see if remote sessions would work from the
middle of the ocean on a cruise ship... and guess what!!! They did! This was so fun and opened the door for a few possible biz deals for my friend and I to do that will be mutually beneficial for both of our businesses and I am so stoked about it! Check it out and see the images over on IG!
