Just a quick heads up... in case you hadn't heard!!
Instagram is putting out new features and updates it feels like every other day!! I thought I'd send out a short blast about it all for any of you who might have missed them!
1. Coming soon... you can adjust how you see your newsfeed. You can put it to chronological, favorites or keep it as it is now for most of us, using the "algorithm".
2. Subscriptions are coming! At some point... you will be able to offer a subscription for VIP content to your followers. Anyone can follow you... but say you have a specific thing you want to talk/teach about... you can offer THAT content on a subscription base!
3. Im sure you have all heard that IG is now pushing for video content more then just images. This means that reels, lives and carousels will perform better in regards to reach over just a single static image. Unless its an AMAZING image that is. :)
4. I've only just barely heard about this one.... so I ask for forgiveness ahead of time on how I try to explain it. lol There is a new feature coming that allows you to "move" your posts around in your feed. Think of it as being able to hit a edit button and change your post positions around. At least that's my understanding of it so far.
5. Coming soon... don't know what or when... but we should expect to see a lot of new messaging features as well! I'm super stoked about that... the DM's can make or break a conversation lol so it will be fun to have more options to really get into those.
